The company operates both in-vessel composting and open windrow composting across multiple sites to produce PAS100, CQP-certified compost soil improver that is put to beneficial use by a range of end-users including soil blenders, farmers, fruit growers, commercial gardeners and horticulturalists.
In addition, the Cambridgeshire site also processes virgin woodchip for use in large scale biomass.
Envar is skilled in accepting and processing coffee grounds to create a range of sustainable products such as low carbon fertilisers, eco fuel, and other innovative solutions.
